I've been thinking about the tragic loss of Michael Kornacki and can't help but feel deeply for his family, especially his young daughter. It's so hard to imagine losing a loved one in such an unimaginable way. It must be a heavy burden for them to bear, knowing that Michael was taken from them due to such a careless act. In cases like this, where someone's life is cut short by a negligent mistake, it really hits home how pivotal responsible firearm ownership truly is. It's terrifying to think that something as simple as a moment of carelessness can result in such a heartbreaking outcome. I'm hoping the family finds some semblance of peace, and I commend the DA’s office for making sure they were supported throughout this process. If any good can come out of this, maybe it’s a reminder to be vigilant and responsible, ensuring we never have to discuss another senseless tragedy like this again. My thoughts are with them during this incredibly difficult time.
