I've been thinking a lot about Norris Brister's journey home that night. It's haunting to know he took the same route he always did but never made it this time. It's clear he was a dedicated family man, and it just breaks my heart thinking about his grandchildren and all the fun moments he's now missing. The fact that he had to take the bus that week, instead of his usual ride, makes you wonder if he crossed paths with someone on that bus or walk that led to this tragedy. I really hope someone who saw or heard something that night comes forward soon. Sending my thoughts and prayers to Norris’s family, especially to Kentrell, who had to identify her father in such a shocking and painful way. Stay strong.
I came across the tragic case of Norris Brister and felt compelled to share some thoughts. It's really gut-wrenching to imagine how Norris was taken from his family. Reading about how he often spent his nights playing pool with friends and then realizing that this time he chose to go straight home is chilling. It makes me wonder if something or someone made him change his usual routine.
The fact that his daughter, Kentrell, was the one who found his belongings on the street but was initially told the victim might not be her father is incredibly difficult to fathom. It must have been such a shock and unbearable moment of confusion and grief for her. To envision her arriving to such a scene, only to have her fears confirmed hours later, is just beyond belief.
I'm curious if anyone else has more insights or theories on why Norris decided to take the bus that night instead of going with friends, as he usually did. It seems like there might be more to the story that evening. Hoping someone in the area remembers seeing something out of the ordinary that night and decides to come forward. My thoughts are truly with Norris' family, especially his grandchildren, who have lost their granddad in such a sudden and senseless way.
I can't stop thinking about the heartbreaking moment when Kentrell arrived home to find her father's belongings scattered in the street. It must have been incredibly confusing and painful for her when the officers initially told her that it couldn't be her dad because the victim appeared too young. This reminds me of how sudden and shocking these tragedies can be, taking loved ones from us in the blink of an eye.
I'm curious about the bus ride that night. Did anyone on the bus notice anything unusual or see Norris with anyone? It seems like he had switched to using the bus recently, and I'm wondering if any fellow passengers noticed any patterns or if there might be some insight there.
There must be someone out there who saw something that could help. My heart goes out to Norris’s family during this tragic time, and I truly hope they find answers soon. If anyone knows anything, please, please come forward.
