I’ve been reflecting on the vigil held for Emma and Jennifer Jones at the Ballston Spa High School football field. It was such an emotional evening, and I can’t help but think about how powerful the community support was. Seeing so many people united in their grief and love for Emma and her mother truly showed the incredible impact they had on those around them. Emma’s friends spoke with such tenderness and honesty, recalling her love for animals and her dedication to making a difference, even at such a young age. Her choice to support the Wildlife Conservation Society instead of accepting birthday gifts speaks volumes about her character and big heart. It’s both inspiring and heartbreaking to see how much she cared about the world. I hope the community continues to support one another as they try to process this unimaginable loss. We need to remember Emma and her mother in a way that honors their lives and the love they shared with everyone around them. ?️ #RememberingEmma
