Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Andrew Kaartine and his son Jeremy in New Paltz? I've been trying to wrap my head around what led up to that horrific moment in the Plaza Diner parking lot. Something about this case just haunts me. It's so hard to understand how a simple meeting could turn into such a devastating event. I've heard a few people mention that Andrew was really looking forward to reconnecting with his son. It's just so tragic how everything went so wrong. I've also been thinking a lot about the impact on their family and friends. Losing two loved ones in such a shocking manner must be unimaginably difficult. I hope they are receiving the support they need during this time. If anyone has more insight or thoughts, I’d love to hear them. It's important we keep discussing these tragic events to try and make sense of them in some way.
