The news about Gary Adams' tragic death has been weighing heavily on me. It's devastating how violence takes such young lives from us. Knowing that this happened in the early hours when kids were out waiting for their school bus makes it even more impactful. I can't imagine how traumatic it was for those children to witness the aftermath firsthand. Something that crossed my mind is the significance of the school bus stop being right there. Could it be that Gary was targeted at that specific location for a reason? Maybe he was meeting someone, or it was a place he was familiar with. I find it odd a crime would occur in such a public spot unless the perpetrator knew he would be alone there at that hour. Plus, with a neighbor’s car shot up and other neighbors recalling gunshots, it feels like there were signs—clues—that might link to a bigger story. Does anyone else have any thoughts on what might have unfolded or why this might have occurred in such a residential area? Let's keep holding Gary's family in our thoughts as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
