Was anyone else here at the candlelight vigil for Charles Elliott Jr. last week? It was incredibly moving to see so many members of the Port Chester community come together to honor his memory. The turnout really showed how much Charles meant to so many people. While it was a beautiful tribute, it also reminded me of the urgency to find answers in his case. There’s a sense of solidarity, but also frustration that no one has been held accountable yet. I really hope someone with information can step forward soon. My heart goes out to his family and friends. How is everyone else feeling about the community response and where this investigation is heading?

Does anyone have any insight into the area of Weber Drive where this happened? I'm not from around there, but I've read that the Midland Court section has had a bit of trouble in the past. It sounds like such a close-knit community, so I hope people feel safe enough to speak up if they know something. It's hard to imagine how difficult this time must be for Charles's family and friends, not knowing exactly why this happened or who could do such a thing. I really hope that with the community's help, they'll be able to find some answers soon. It’s just so frustrating to think there's someone out there with information, no matter how small, that could potentially lead to justice for Charles.
