Has anyone else found it odd how Lawrence handled everything after June supposedly left? I can't get over him putting June's kids on a bus with only ten bucks and sending them off like that. Two whole days those kids traveled alone to their father's home. It just seems so cold and detached. I find it especially strange that he unhooked the trailer and left it there rather than calling authorities or searching for her himself. I keep thinking about that .32-caliber pistol they found in the trailer. It's chilling, given what June's sister said about him threatening her. Could something more sinister have happened that night? I wonder if investigators ever looked into the gun to see if it was tied to anything else or if it could give more insight.
Hey everyone,
Has anyone delved into the timeline discrepancies regarding when Lawrence claims to have woken up and realized June was gone? I've been mulling over this detail, and it just doesn't sit right with me. If June left in the middle of the night as he says, wouldn't the dogs barking have woken him up immediately? Especially given they're in a compact travel trailer where sound carries quite easily. I'm curious if anyone else has noticed any peculiarities around this aspect or can provide more insight into how this timeframe was established. Could there be more to it, like witnesses at the rest stop or elsewhere along the route who might have seen or heard something? It feels like this tiny detail could unravel a lot if looked at closely enough.
