I've been following the tragic case of Shatavia Crisantos and her family, and something that's been on my mind is the impact of this horrific event on the surviving children, especially the 5-year-old who witnessed such unimaginable violence. It's so difficult to think about a child having to process something like this at such a young age. I truly hope that there are resources and counseling available for him to help him through this trauma. Children are so resilient, but they need so much support and love, especially after such a devastating experience. My heart goes out to the entire Crisantos family and everyone affected by this tragedy. If anyone knows of organizations that can support kids in situations like this, please share—I’m sure the community would appreciate helping however we can.

I'm truly at a loss for words over the tragedy that unfolded in Newburgh. While reading about the case, I couldn't help but focus on the couple's 3-year-old child. It's a miracle that this little one survived the horrific event, but the emotional scars must be unimaginable. My heart goes out to the family members who are now tasked with providing love and support for this young child. It raises so many questions about how a community can step in to help a family through such an unthinkable ordeal. There must be immense challenges in navigating grief, trauma, and healing, especially for a child so young. I'm curious if there are any local organizations or community efforts underway to support the surviving children and the broader family. Has anyone heard about initiatives or ways people are coming together to help them? It’s reassuring to see people unite in times like these, and I'm hoping there's some light for the family amid so much darkness.
