I’ve been looking into Wynant Moore’s case, and something that really puzzles me is the lack of coverage his disappearance initially received outside of Slade, Kentucky. Given how well-liked he was locally and the active efforts by family and friends to get the word out, I would’ve expected it to gain more regional, if not national, attention. I know it was the ’70s and media wasn’t what it is today, but I wonder if broader media exposure could’ve brought some new leads or witness accounts that went unnoticed at the time. Hoping this renewed interest in the case can finally help uncover what happened to Wynant. Anyone else notice how the media landscape affects these cases, especially back then?
