Hey everyone, I've been piecing through the puzzle that is Alphonso Mathis’ disappearance and stumbled upon something curious. I came across a newspaper clipping from 1976 that mentions a witness claiming to have seen someone who looked like Alphonso near a bus station in Jacksonville on the day he vanished. It's always been unclear if it was him or not. But knowing that, is it possible he could have been planning to leave town? Those bus stations were busy intersections back then, and it might have been easy for someone to slip by unnoticed. Just throwing it out there for discussion—do you think a voluntary departure could explain the lack of details or leads in his case? Could this be a fresh angle for us to consider, or has this been ruled out entirely in past investigations? Would love to hear thoughts!
