It's truly difficult to wrap my head around the tragedy of Kimberly Grant's passing. I can't stop thinking about the impact this must have had on her kids (if she had any). Losing a parent is devastating enough, but to lose one in such a violent way—it's unimaginable. The effects on them emotionally and psychologically must be immense. I hope they're getting the support they need to process this. It's one of those reminders of how important it is for communities to come together and support those who are left behind. If anyone knows of any resources or ways to help surviving family members in such cases, please share. We all need to be more proactive in supporting families in this kind of aftermath.
