Hey everyone, I've been following the Corey Watson case closely and something keeps nagging at me. It's about the location where this tragedy occurred. 1191 Park Place in Crown Heights isn't exactly known for being a hotspot for violent crime, at least when compared to some other parts of Brooklyn. So why this building, and why now? Was it just a random act of violence, or could there be more to it? The police haven’t shared much about why Corey and the other man were targeted, but I wonder if anyone in the community has noticed anything unusual around that area? Like, have there been any new faces or tensions that might have been building up? And then there’s the bigger question: how do incidents like this one fit into the overall safety picture of Crown Heights? It's scary to think you could be celebrating a birthday one moment and fighting for your life the next. My heart really goes out to Corey's family, and I hope they get the answers they deserve soon.
