I’ve been following the case of Daniel Garcia-Carbajal and just found out something that sends chills down my spine. The way social media was used to lure him to Cow Meadow Park is horrifying. It seems like such an innocent way to set up a meeting, but it was actually a trap that cost a young man his life. I can't imagine the fear Daniel must have felt when he realized what was happening. It’s terrifying to think how social media, which is supposed to connect people, can be twisted into tools for such terrible acts. My thoughts are with Daniel’s family and friends as they continue to seek justice for him. I hope they receive all the support they need during this incredibly difficult time. Be cautious out there, everyone. You never know what might be hiding behind a seemingly friendly message. What can be done to prevent these kinds of crimes online?
