Hey everyone, I’ve been following Trenten Sink’s case since it happened, and I can’t stop thinking about what a positive force he was for so many young folks in his community. I just read more about his involvement in setting up the NY Lightning Touch Football League. It's amazing how he not only played semi-pro football but also took the initiative to organize a league to keep young adults engaged in something constructive. It really makes me wonder how different things might have been if more community programs like the one Trenten helped create were available and accessible. I can't imagine how his family and friends must feel, knowing how much he contributed to trying to build better opportunities for others. It’s important to remember how he lived and what he stood for, especially now. His legacy seems to highlight the need for more people like him in every neighborhood. Does anyone know if the league is still operating or if there are any memorial events planned in his honor? It seems like the least that could be done to keep his spirit and goals alive. Wishing peace to everyone touched by this tragedy. ??️
