I've been thinking a lot about Rory Dahill and his story really hits hard. It makes me think about the immense pressure officers are under daily and how that toll isn't always visible. It's tragic to hear he reached out just the day before to honor a fellow fallen officer, and then we lose him too. It's vital we show empathy and support for those who protect us, but who is taking care of them? His death serves as a stark reminder of the mental health crisis within law enforcement. My heart goes out to his loved ones and colleagues who are grappling with this loss. This community needs our support now more than ever, and I hope this prompts real change in how we address mental health for our officers.
