Does anyone else feel a chill thinking about that little child? I just can't wrap my head around the fact that they were in the house during such a horrific event. Thank goodness they weren't physically harmed, but the emotional impact must be immense. The innocence of a 6-year-old being shattered like that breaks my heart. I hope there are caring people around them to help navigate the trauma. Has anyone heard if the community is organizing any support or resources for the child? It's vital that they receive all the care and comfort they need in the aftermath of such a tragedy. Sending love and strength to the family.
