I find it so disheartening that the lives of so many at the block party were forever changed on what should've been a joyful holiday. Tavon Greenhill's death is just devastating, and I can’t even begin to imagine what his family is going through right now. It’s also incredibly concerning to think about those kids and families who witnessed such a terrifying incident. I keep wondering how the community is coping with the trauma of that day. The rapid response by law enforcement to make arrests is commendable, but I hope more is being done to support the families who experienced this firsthand. It’s troubling to think that this kind of violence could happen at a community event. Does anyone know if there are any support networks or counseling services being offered to those who were there? I hope the community rallies together to strengthen peace initiatives and provide healing to all those affected.
