I’ve been thinking a lot about how the community can come together to support Keon Martin’s family during this unbelievably difficult time. It’s gut-wrenching to see another young life lost, especially in such a senseless and violent way. I can't even imagine the pain his loved ones are experiencing right now. Does anyone know if there have been any vigils or community events held in his memory? Sometimes these gatherings can bring a small sense of comfort and unity. If not, it might be something to consider organizing. Even just a candlelight vigil or a community walk could be a way to remember Keon and say “we won’t forget.” Also, has there been any recent outreach or initiatives by local organizations focusing on stopping the violence? It feels like there’s so much more we can do as a community to keep tragedies like this from happening again. If anyone knows of places to volunteer or contribute, please share. Let’s find ways to honor Keon beyond this forum and continue advocating for change.
