Has anyone looked into the connection between the Ford Mustang rumors and Chris Jennings' disappearance? I've been following this case for a while, and the mention of the wrecked car with blood inside has always piqued my interest. It seems like this could have been a major lead if verified. Did the authorities ever get a chance to examine the car for any forensic evidence back in 1980, or was it just considered a rumor and not investigated thoroughly? There were supposed witnesses, which makes me wonder if anyone has come forward since then or if this was just speculation that couldn’t be substantiated. I imagine technology at the time may have limited what could be determined, but maybe there's more that can be done now?
