Has anyone else been looking into the challenges faced by law enforcement in Baton Rouge around 2016? Larry Jr. Johnson’s case just sticks with me. It’s incredibly distressing to think about how his family is still waiting for answers after all these years. With the number of homicides that year, I wonder if the sheer volume played a role in resources being stretched so thin, leading to cases like Larry's remaining unsolved. It seems like witness cooperation is such a major issue, but I can't help but feel there might be more to it. Could the community-police relationship back then have affected the willingness of people to come forward? Sending strength to Larry's loved ones and hoping for a breakthrough soon.
