I just can't stop thinking about Wray Harding's murder and how it's part of this awful string of violence in the Bronx. Five murders in five days—how did it get this bad? It must be an absolute nightmare for Wray's loved ones and for everyone else who lives in the area. No arrests or suspects at this point, which must be beyond frustrating, not to mention terrifying for the community. I've read that the NYPD is working to connect the dots, but as of now, there seem to be no leads giving any hope of justice or closure. The pandemic's impact on crime seems undeniable, but we need more than just explanations—we need real change, for Wray and for everyone else who calls the 47th precinct home. It's hard to feel safe when this kind of violence happens so close to home. My heart goes out to his family, and I really hope they find some answers soon.
