Has anyone else looked into Waajid Pierce's background? It's concerning to think about how many lives might be affected by these senseless acts of violence. I read about his arrest at MacArthur Airport, and it got me wondering if there are more layers to this story we don’t yet know. This whole situation is just so disturbing. It’s clear that Daishawn Benjamin’s family has been through unimaginable pain with losing both brothers like this. I can't begin to imagine what their daily life must be like now. If anyone has more information about Pierce or knows about previous encounters he's had with the law, please share. It just seems like there must be more to his involvement, especially since he’s from a different neighborhood. Wishing strength and support for Benjamin’s family during this incredibly tough time.

I've been following the tragic case of Daishawn Benjamin, and it's just so profoundly sad to see such a hardworking young father lose his life in this senseless violence. What stands out to me is the timing and location of this attack on Daishawn—8:30 in the morning, right in front of a local deli. That's a time when the neighborhood should be waking up to a new day, not reeling from gunshots. It makes you think about how unsafe our streets are becoming, even in broad daylight. It's disturbing to consider that someone decided to carry out a cold-blooded murder like that when any number of innocent people could have been caught in the crossfire. The Benjamin family has gone through so much already with Kizer's murder. No family should endure such repeated tragedy. I hope the charges against Waajid Pierce bring them some peace, but the loss must still be immense. I can't imagine how Daishawn's daughters are coping—losing a father is one thing, but losing an uncle in the same month is unimaginable. It’s essential for communities to come together to address these escalating cycles of violence, somehow preventing other families from experiencing this level of pain. Sending love and strength to all who knew them.
