I’ve been following the Armani Lee Allen case closely, and something that really catches my attention is how the justice system handles repeat offenders. Both Ronald and Donald Brown had such extensive criminal histories, yet they were still able to roam freely. It's devastating to think that Armani's life could have been spared if there had been more stringent measures in place for dealing with persistent offenders. I can't begin to imagine the pain his family must feel knowing that his killers had a history of criminal behavior. It makes me wonder what could be done differently to prevent these kinds of tragedies. Are there enough resources to track and rehabilitate those with long criminal records, or is the system just overwhelmed? My thoughts are with Armani's loved ones, hoping that his story drives real change.
