I haven’t seen much discussion about the role of community support in Laquan Ealey’s case. Having lived in Rochester for most of my life, it’s truly admirable to see how the community has come together to support Laquan’s family. It’s clear that his death has left a significant void, and the various vigils and events held in his honor have been powerful reminders of the love that people had for him. It’s frustrating how little progress has been made in the investigation, and the family deserves so much more than just unanswered questions. I genuinely hope that the continued efforts to keep the case in the public eye will eventually lead to someone coming forward with crucial information. Sending peace and strength to Laquan’s family and friends during this difficult time.
