I can't stop thinking about the role that Theresa's love for horses played in her life. It's so hard to wrap my mind around the fact that someone who found so much peace and joy through such a wonderful passion could end up in such a tragic situation. Horses have this incredible ability to calm and heal, and I truly hope Theresa found moments of happiness with them throughout her life. It's such a shock to lose someone who was such a vibrant part of the community in such a devastating way. My heart goes out to her surviving daughter, Mikayla, and the rest of her family. I can't imagine the pain they must be feeling, and I hope they find some comfort in the love and memories they shared with Theresa. ?

I've been following this case closely, and it's so surreal to think about how everything unfolded. Theresa seemed to be such a loving mother, active in her community and deeply passionate about her hobbies. What truly stands out to me is how someone so involved in nurturing life, like through her love for horses and dedication at Redeemer Church, could end up in such a horrifying situation. I can’t even begin to imagine the emotional turmoil that her daughter must have been going through during that argument. It's so hard to comprehend how an argument could escalate to such a devastating outcome. My heart goes out to Bernice and the rest of the family as they navigate through this indescribable loss while trying to support each other. The community must really be rallying together to make sense of this tragedy and to honor Theresa's memory. I hope there will be some form of healing over time, even though it must seem impossible right now. Terribly sad and unsettling all around.

Hi all, I've been following the tragic case of Theresa Nilsen, and my heart goes out to her family, especially her mother Bernice and her daughter Mikayla. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they're going through. Something that's been on my mind is Theresa's love for horseback riding and how much joy it must have brought her. It's a small window into who she was outside of this incident. Does anyone know if there's been any memorial or gathering from her horseback riding community? Sometimes communities around a shared passion can be a huge source of support. It's heartbreaking when beautiful aspects of a person's life get overshadowed by tragedy, but it's important we remember and celebrate those parts too. Sending love and strength to everyone affected.
