I recently came across some information about Heyward "Tenny" Patterson's involvement in his community, and I just can't stop thinking about the impact he had on those around him. From what I've gathered, he wasn't just a deacon in title but lived the truest sense of the word by helping anyone in need. I read he would drive folks to and from the grocery store, which seems such a small gesture but speaks volumes about his character and the kind of person he was. I can't even imagine the loss felt by his community - losing someone you could always count on is devastating. I hope his story of selflessness is shared far and wide because he truly deserves to be remembered for how he lived, not just how he died. Anyone have more stories or memories of Tenny? I'd love to hear how he touched your life or the lives of those you know.
