I've been following the N9975 disappearance for weeks and something has been bothering me. Was anyone else struck by the fact that there hasn't been any signal or distress beacon activated since they went missing? I know accidents can happen really fast, but with modern tech, I would've expected at least a brief signal. Could weather conditions have interfered, or is there another explanation we're missing? Hoping for any insight from those with aviation knowledge. What might prevent a beacon or transponder from sending out a signal?
