I've been following the Alfred Bent case ever since it happened, and it's just so tragic how no one realized he was shot due to the noise at the party. I keep thinking about how close the community was and how shocked everyone must have been. Alfred seemed like such a stand-up guy, always helping others, and it's just terrible that his life ended like this.

Has anyone looked into the new job Alfred recently started? I read that he had just begun working with a company that contracts with the city's Department of Transportation. It's super tragic what happened to him, and this might have absolutely nothing to do with the situation, but could there have been any recent workplace conflicts or someone who knew him through his job that would have a motive? Sometimes tensions at work can boil over in unexpected ways. My heart truly goes out to his children and family. They’ve already lost so much, and they deserve answers.
