Hey everyone, I’ve been going down a rabbit hole with the disappearance of the Cessna 206 with Dewey Bailey, John Cushman, and Hunter Wells onboard. What I find so puzzling is the weather conditions on the day of their flight. I looked into some historical weather data, and it seems there might have been an unexpected storm front that day. Could this have played a role in their disappearance? It's such rough terrain out there, and I can't imagine how challenging it is for search teams to navigate. Does anyone know if there were any reported issues with visibility or other pilots mentioning turbulence around that time? Would love to know if anyone has come across similar weather-related aviation disappearances in that region.
