Hey everyone,
I've been going through the details of Gregory Vernard Link's disappearance and something about the location where his car was found keeps bugging me. Eastern Avenue and Quarrels Street in NE DC isn't exactly a high-traffic area, especially at night. It's odd that no one saw or heard anything suspicious around the time his car was abandoned there. With so little publicity about this case back in '84, it makes me wonder if any witnesses just didn't realize what they saw or if there's a missing piece to the story about why his car was left there. Does anyone familiar with the area from that time remember anything unusual? Or maybe someone has an idea on why that corner might have been chosen? Any insights or theories would be amazing to hear.
Thanks!
I've been diving deep into Gregory Vernard Link's case, and one thing that stands out is how his car was just left at Eastern Avenue and Quarrels Street. Has anyone done a deep dive into that specific location back in the 80s? Like, why would his car end up there? Was it known for anything sketchy at the time? Maybe there's an old local who might remember something. It feels like the car's location might hold more clues than we've realized. Curious if anyone else has thoughts on what might have been happening in that area around '84.
Hey everyone, I've been combing through some cold cases and Gregory Vernard Link's disappearance really caught my attention, especially the bit about where his car was found. Does anyone have any info or theories about the area around Eastern Avenue and Quarrels Street back in 1984? Was it known for any specific kind of activity? I'm wondering if the location might hold some clues that could have been overlooked. It just seems odd that his car was found there with apparently no other traces of him. Any locals from DC or history buffs who know what that neighborhood was like back then, your insights would be much appreciated!
