I’ve been following the tragic case of Kareem Collier, and I've been thinking a lot about the impact this must have on his family and friends. The suddenness of losing someone to such senseless violence is unimaginable. I'm curious about the community's response after Kareem's death. Has there been any movement or community organizing in Albany to address these issues of gun violence and support for bereaved families? The pain his loved ones must feel is just so profound, and it's crucial that they feel supported and not alone during such a difficult time. I'm hoping that with the plea deal and upcoming sentencing, there can be some sense of justice for Kareem and a step towards healing for those he left behind.
