I’ve been following the case of Alexis Sellin and Jami Crawford, and I can’t stop thinking about their little child. It’s unimaginable to consider what they must be going through after experiencing such a traumatic event. Having lived with the unimaginable loss of their parents, the emotional recovery is a long journey, to say the least. I sincerely hope that they’re receiving all the love and support possible from the community and social services. This child has already shown such resilience by just surviving those terrifying days. Let’s keep them in our thoughts and use this space to brainstorm how communities can come together to support children affected by tragedies like this.
