I can’t stop thinking about the courage Linver must have mustered during those terrifying moments when he ran to the gas station. It breaks my heart to imagine the fear he experienced, hoping he could somehow find safety. It’s truly horrifying that a simple disagreement over a parking spot spiraled into such a tragedy. I really hope those involved are held accountable and that Linver’s family eventually finds some sense of peace. The randomness and brutality of this act remind us to hold our loved ones close. It shouldn’t take something so awful to make us realize how fragile life can be. Such a devastating loss for the community.
