Does anyone else find it absolutely chilling how the attackers approached Lea Anne Brown and Michael Patten outside a church? It's so unsettling to think that a place typically associated with safety and peace was the last place they were seen alive before being taken. It makes me think about how unpredictable and unfair life can be. My heart goes out to both families who had to endure such a senseless act of violence. It’s terrifying to think about the random nature of these crimes and how it can happen to anyone, anywhere. I hope they are finding some form of closure or comfort, knowing that the perpetrators were eventually apprehended. How do fellow sleuths deal with the emotional impact of cases like this?
