Did anyone else catch that strange weather report from the day the Hotline went down? I was digging through some old news archives, and it seems like there was an unexpected storm that rolled in, way stronger than what was forecasted. I'm wondering if that could've played a part in what happened to Bert Logan and the other crew members. It's just weird how everything seemed fine earlier in the day. It's almost like the storm came out of nowhere. Has anyone heard more about how the weather might've impacted the search and rescue efforts?

Has anyone researched into the maintenance records for the Hotline before it sank? It just seems odd that a commercial vessel would go down like that without any prior warning signs. Were there any reports of mechanical issues or anything like that? It might seem like a small detail, but maybe it can give some insight into what happened and how the crew got caught up in such a tragic situation. I feel like understanding the condition of the boat could shine some light on why Bert and the others found themselves in such a dire situation.
