I recently stumbled across the case of George Wightman Peavey and something caught my eye that I haven't seen discussed here much. It's peculiar that despite the Golden Gate Bridge being such a popular location and usually crowded, there seem to be no witnesses or further info about George’s last known whereabouts. Being the bustling landmark it is, it makes me wonder about the likelihood of someone seeing or hearing something that day, even if it seemed insignificant at the time. Has anyone looked into the traffic patterns or any scheduled events around the area on May 27, 1987? Sometimes roadwork or an event can bring more people to an area, increasing the chances that someone might have noticed George. Also, I wonder if anyone’s gone back to interview people who might have been around that day but didn't realize they saw something of importance. What are everyone's thoughts on this angle?
I was reading about the case of George Wightman Peavey and couldn’t help but wonder why there’s so little info out there about his activities leading up to his disappearance. He was last seen on the Golden Gate Bridge, which is quite a public area. Did anyone he knew notice anything unusual in his behavior before May 27, 1987? Were there any reported sightings leading up to or immediately following that day that perhaps weren’t taken seriously at the time? Also, it’s odd there’s no DNA or fingerprint data available—wasn't that unusual even for the 80s? It feels like there’s so much we don’t know. Would love to connect with anyone who might have more insight or theories about what might have happened to him.
