Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about Patrick Wright's case and wanted to share something that's been on my mind. It's truly puzzling how many shooting incidents were happening across New Orleans in 2017. I mean, 680 shootings in a year is just staggering. It's scary to think how these acts of violence can become such a common occurrence—almost like part of daily life in some areas. Patrick's death is just one of many from that time, but every single one of those lives lost was someone’s loved one. Each of these cases deserves full attention and justice. I hope that by keeping conversations going and staying informed, we can help put pressure where it's needed and support the community's efforts to curb this violence. It's really important that voices for justice continue to be heard in New Orleans and beyond. My heart goes out to Patrick's family and everyone else who had to suffer a similar loss. Would love to hear thoughts about tackling violence during that period or current ideas for action.

Hey everyone, I’ve been looking into the Patrick Wright case, and something that really got me thinking is how community efforts play a role in solving cases like his. It's sad to see so many folks losing their lives in New Orleans during 2017, and with Patrick's case still unresolved, I'm wondering how we, as a community, can contribute more effectively to assist the NOPD. I know the police urged locals to come forward with information, but it seems like there might have been some hesitancy. Why do you think people are reluctant to speak up in these situations despite police assurances? How can communities overcome these barriers? It's so important to get justice for Patrick and his family, and any insight or experiences about community-police relationships could be really valuable here. Patrick deserved so much better, and my heart goes out to his family and friends who must be finding it incredibly tough. Let's hope for a break in the case soon. Stay safe out there, everyone.
