Hey everyone, been diving deep into the Cassandra Elizabeth Durham case and something caught my attention. I came across a note from one of the investigators mentioning her tattoos—specifically, the boyfriend's initials and her sorority initials. I find it strange how neither of these tattoos, which are quite distinct, have been spotted in any leads over the years. You'd think this detail would stick out if someone came across her or her remains. It just makes me wonder if anyone in that Michigan area or even back in Baltimore might have remembered seeing her back then or later. Maybe there wasn’t enough focus on asking around about those tattoos at the time? Could be a long shot, but sometimes small details like this can jog someone’s memory enough to bring up new information. What do you guys think about the significance of tattoos in missing person cases? Could this be an under-explored avenue?

Has anyone else looked into the car situation in Cassandra Durham's case? It's always seemed odd to me that after their initial car broke down near Detroit, they somehow acquired another vehicle and just continued on like nothing happened. Does anyone know how they managed to get a second car? Was it borrowed from someone they knew, or did they purchase it somehow? I haven’t seen much info on this detail, and it feels like it'd be an important piece of the puzzle. Also, with her boyfriend coming back alone a couple years later, it makes me wonder if anyone followed up on the ownership or history of that second vehicle. It's peculiar, and I'm curious if anyone else has thoughts or more details on this.

Has anyone looked into the route Cassandra and her boyfriend might have taken after their car reportedly broke down near Detroit? It seems like there could be local witnesses who might remember seeing them or the new vehicle they acquired. Given it was the late '80s, I'm wondering if any nearby mechanics might recall fixing a car that aligns with this timeframe or if anyone sold them a vehicle. It's a long shot, but sometimes people have clear memories of incidents like these, especially if the couple seemed stranded or in need of assistance. Additionally, has anyone checked if there's any record of a sold or abandoned car around that time and area? We know how critical those small details can be.
