Has anyone else been following the legal proceedings in the Lisa Laverne Brown case? It's been so tough to read about the history of violence surrounding Lawrence Banks. The fact that he had previous convictions and still managed to find himself in a position to harm Lisa and her daughter is just beyond comprehension. I can't stop thinking about the justice system and how it handles repeat offenders. It makes you wonder if there were more checks in place, could this have been prevented? My thoughts are with Lisa's family. I hope they find some peace and healing as they continue to live through this nightmare. Let's keep discussing ways to support victims of domestic violence so tragedies like this are less likely to happen.
