Can't stop thinking about Peter Dean's case and the strange elements surrounding his last known day. I've always wondered about the "situation" he was supposedly involved in. It seems like such a crucial piece of the puzzle that's never been clearly defined. Was it something that happened with someone he knew, or was it a more random event that led to his disappearance? Given the time that has passed, I'm curious if anyone with knowledge of this case has theories on what kind of situation it might have been. I feel like understanding that aspect could potentially shine a light on why he went missing. If only we knew more, maybe other locals or people from that era could piece together some forgotten detail. Maine has so many unsolved cases from the '80s; it's frustrating that Peter's still has so many unknowns.

Hey everyone, I was recently reading about the Peter Dean case from 1987 and got curious about the timeline of events on the day he went missing. There seem to be a lot of gaps and unclear details about that day. Does anyone have any information on who he might have interacted with in the hours leading up to his disappearance? Sometimes these small details can provide new paths for investigation, especially when things have gone cold. It just seems odd that there’s so little known about his last known movements. Also, I've noticed that Maine in the '80s had quite a few cases like this. Could it be that there is some overlooked connection between them? Would love to hear anyone's thoughts or theories on this!
