The fact that the boat was never found is really strange to me. So many disappearances involve at least some debris or wreckage washing ashore, especially in a situation where bodies were recovered. How does a whole boat just vanish without a trace like this? It makes you wonder if there’s something more at play that we don’t know about. What if they were caught in some kind of rogue wave or current that swept them farther out to sea? Even experienced captains like DeGoes can have a moment where everything goes wrong. Anyone have theories on why no debris turned up, even after the men's bodies were discovered?
