Has anyone else dug into the arguments Jose had with that acquaintance before his murder? It seems like such a critical part of the case since they supposedly became a person of interest right after. I can’t help but think about how terrifying it must have been for Jose in those final days, knowing tensions were escalating. And if there were witnesses who heard these fights, I wonder if any of them saw something that really helped the investigation along. My heart really goes out to Jose's family and friends; I hope that identifying the suspect gives them some comfort, but I know that sense of loss never truly fades. Can anyone familiar with Upper Marlboro share how the community handled the aftermath and whether those safety measures made a difference?
