Saw something interesting on Jarvis LeRoy Sayler’s case that got me thinking. It’s really puzzling how Chris was able to collect Jarvis's Social Security benefits for so long without raising any flags sooner. I mean, how did the system not catch on for over three decades? It definitely makes you wonder about the checks and balances that are—or aren't—in place for these types of benefits. With the amount Chris managed to collect, it feels like there should have been some safeguards to prevent this kind of fraud. I can't help but wonder if more stringent checks could have not only prevented the fraud but also shed light on Jarvis's whereabouts much sooner. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?

Does anyone else find it odd how Jarvis’s brother was only caught for fraud in 2019? That's over 30 years since Jarvis went missing! It just seems so suspicious that Chris got away with it for so long, especially taking such a large amount of money, and all that time Jarvis was just unaccounted for. You'd think the system would have caught on earlier. I mean, wouldn’t there have been some sort of review or checks on such a large sum of money going out for so many years? I can't help but wonder if there was some other reason he was able to keep it under wraps for so long. It makes me question what else might have been overlooked in the initial investigation. Ugh, this case is so frustratingly tangled... what do you guys think?
