Does anyone else find it deeply disturbing how the community has struggled to cope with Brian Andre Grant's passing? I can't stop thinking about how tragic it is for his family and friends, who seem just as devastated today as they were back in 2010. I recently came across a touching post from a community member who shared stories about Brian's aspirations and how he had a genuine ability to light up a room with his presence. It's a painful reminder of how senseless violence can snatch away promising young lives. The way the community banded together to support Brian's family was truly commendable, but it's clear there's ongoing pain. It's hard not to wonder about the long-term impact on those who knew him and what we can collectively do to prevent such nightmares from recurring. I'm hoping for continued healing and justice, not just for Brian, but for all communities plagued by violence.
