Hey all, I’ve been following the case of the missing boat near Flat Island, and I wanted to bring up something that might have been overlooked. Has anyone considered the impact of sudden weather changes in that area? The waters around lower Cook Inlet can get pretty treacherous without much warning. I've read that Jay Cooke, one of the missing persons, was an experienced fisherman. It makes me wonder if the weather reports that day were misleading or if something unexpected happened. Does anyone have insight into the local weather patterns or similar incidents in that region? Thanks!
