I’ve been following George's case for a while now, and something that’s bugged me is the huge gap between when he was last seen and when he was reported missing. Nine years is such a long time for nobody to raise the alarm. I wonder if there were past instances where he’d go off the grid for extended periods? It’s strange to me how George's sister decided to report him only after so long. Did something specific prompt her? Maybe something happened in April 1998 that made her think about George or realize he wasn’t around anymore? It seems like a crucial angle that might hold some answers.
Has anyone else been curious about the reason behind the incredibly long gap between when George was last seen and when he was officially reported missing? It seems unusual that his sister waited nearly nine years to take any action. I wonder if there were personal reasons or family dynamics at play that might have caused the delay? It's also interesting that his ex-wife was the last person to see him. Could there have been any motive or involvement there? Just speculating, but these are some intriguing aspects of the case that might provide clues. Let's hope new information comes to light soon.
Has anyone else looked into the weather reports from Eureka Springs around June 21, 1989? It might seem like a small detail, but weather conditions can sometimes help determine what someone might have been thinking or doing. If it was a clear day, maybe George was planning to spend a day outside or walking. If the weather was bad, that might have affected his plans or travel options. I also wonder why there was such a long gap before he was reported missing. Something just doesn't add up to me. Thoughts?
