The tragedy of Janet Dalesio and her brother Ronald Kullman in Baltimore really got me thinking about how isolated and overwhelmed someone can feel when dealing with chronic illnesses. While it's tough to fully grasp their struggles, it's clear they were both enduring so much more than what was visible on the surface. I hope their story prompts us all to check in on our loved ones, especially if they're battling illnesses that take a toll both physically and mentally. There’s so much stigma around asking for help, but we need to ensure that there are open channels where people feel safe to reach out for support. My heart goes out to Janet’s son, John, and all who loved them. May they find peace and healing in time.
