Does anyone else find it strange that Pamela Marie Johnson was classified as an "endangered runaway" at some point? I get that it's a common label, especially back in 1990, but I can't help but feel like it was a bit premature or even misleading. There's so little information about what actually happened the day she went missing in Paterson. Why would authorities lean towards labeling her a runaway without stronger evidence, especially when it's been over 30 years with no confirmed sightings or leads? It's crucial to keep her case alive and not let old assumptions cloud new investigations. If anyone's familiar with how runaway classifications were determined at the time, I'd love to hear more about it. Hopefully, someone out there remembers something that could help bring some much-needed answers.
Hey everyone, I came across Pamela Marie Johnson's case recently and something keeps bugging me. I read that she was initially listed as an endangered runaway. Does anyone else think that's an odd classification, especially since she hasn’t been seen at all since 1990? I mean, I get that young adults sometimes leave home without a trace, but considering the complete lack of sightings, it feels like there might be more to her story.
I'm really curious about how these classifications get decided and if they might have impacted how her case was investigated early on. Anyone here with experience or insight into how these cases are typically handled? Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone knows more about how cases like this transition from runaway to possible foul play scenarios.
