Hey everyone,
I was just reading about Susan's case, and something got me thinking. Has anyone discussed the currents in the Copper River around the area where she fell? I know people have mentioned how swift the water is, but I can’t stop wondering if there's a possibility that the currents pushed her farther than expected. I'm not an expert, but if anyone has experience with the river’s flow patterns, maybe it could give some insight or even guide search efforts better. Just hoping to brainstorm any possible angles that might have been overlooked. Every bit counts! ?
I just came across Susan's case, and I'm wondering if they've considered the current in that part of the Copper River. I’ve read that it can be pretty swift and unpredictable, especially with the melting snow adding to the flow at this time of year. It seems like a dangerous spot for dip net fishing. Has anyone local weighed in on how the currents might have affected a search effort? I'm hoping they’re factoring in everything possible to narrow down where she might be. Keeping her family in my thoughts as they wait for answers.
