I cannot believe it's been six years and there's still no movement on Gregory Hawkins' case. It really makes me think about how difficult it must be for Gregory’s family and friends, knowing there's still no justice or answers. The fact that this is just one of many unsolved cases from that year is just so haunting. I read that New Orleans had such a struggle with gun violence in 2017, and Gregory’s murder seemed to underscore the wider issue of crime in the city.
While the NOPD has been urging the community for any information, it's frustrating to think that fear or mistrust might be preventing people from coming forward.
